It was with deep sadness that we received the news of Marina Rossanda’s death yesterday. We would like to offer our sincerest condolences to her family, and to all of our dear friends at Gazzella.

Marina was a figure of great respect at PMRS, with whom she worked tirelessly to give hope to children injured as a result of the conflict, and to bring the humanitarian and health situation in Palestine to the world’s attention.

Marina has left behind her the legacy of an admirable woman committed to justice, liberty and peace. It is from people like her that we draw the strength and motivation to continue struggling for an end to this debilitating occupation towards freedom, dignity, and justice.

In her, we have lost a dear friend who will be forever remembered by the staff of PMRS, and by the many Palestinians whose hearts she touched.
